Hello world!

Hello world indeed.

The guy who runs this site was nice enough to accept me as a beta tester for the site and I will have to find my way around this place as well so maybe it will take a few days until I figure this whole thing out. Now let’s start with the basics:

What is this blog?

…this site basically will serve as a showcase for my miniature painting which moved more and more towards commission painting in the past few years. I get to paint some of my own minis from time to time as well, but for the most part you will find commissioned work on this blog. I plan to post regular updates with Work In Progress shots of the minis I’m currently working on. This means that my gallery gradually will get bigger and there will be more and more colourful pictures for you to see so make sure you come here often, check for updates and leave comments! I always strife to improve my skills and any kind of feedback will be appreciated.

I also hope to manage to post tutorials on various aspects on miniatures painting as well as maybe some stuff about my gaming eventhough I’m mostly a painter these days and don’t play that often. Still, I get the occational game done and maybe there will even be a few battle reports (most probably Warhammer 40,000, but you never know what I get myself into next) in the future.

So much for my first blog entry. As you can see,  I have high ambitions for this thing and if you have any requests or questions, just contact me and I will see what I can do. If you’re interested in hiring me to paint your miniatures, be it single showcase figurines or a whole army,  just send me an e-mail.
